This is an ID remembrance/post count increaser thread for new IDs or people who haven't posted yet for the day so that the site will remember their IDs until they leave. I know /test/ is pretty much used for that already but this is my board so I might as well use it.
Anyone into Magic Eyes? Or Sterographical images for that matter? Took me awhile but I can view them without glasses now. It's all about "relaxing" your eyes. The animated ones are really neat. Probably the closest thing to VR for us broke people. Properly made animated ones are even cooler. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0u4LhaVHHPk
Anything Goes (Take #2) thread Basically fuck the rules but if you post pizza don't be surprised if it gets reported. Everything else goes. I'm eliminating the board rules to make this legit.
"Anything goes" thread #1 As long as it abides by the rules you can post about whatever you'd like in this thread. So what do you guys enjoy doing in your spare time? I generally do a lot of reading on science-y things. Astronomy is really interesting in itself. I don't understand all of it obviously but it's truly mind-boggling what exists beyond our skies and how massive our universe really is. The fact that it takes roughly 8 minutes for light from the sun to reach the earth (considering how fast light travels) is rather amazing in itself. Or that whenever you look up at the night sky you are looking into the past no matter where you look.
What is your opinion on the declining state of the *chan culture in general? I first came across 4chan back in later '05 (don't remember what led me to discover it on my own though) and was an avid poster until about 2008 or so when I noticed that too much of the *chan culture was leaking into the mainstream media via "Rickrolls" and "I can haz cheezeburger" bullshit and it was starting to bother me heavily. Plus Anonymous began splintering off into factions with the rise of the Scientology raids and I think while they originally meant to make it a big joke like usual I believe that is when the SJW movement began to take shape and replace all the oldfags that once populated 4chan and the other big *chans at the time. I stopped posting by '09 and migrated over to Tinychan and AnonBBS to entertain myself with the trolling of Kimmo Alm--The Swedish English-spelling/grammar nazi who was also a closet pedo (he normally deleted walls of text if there was a single type unless it was in a pedo thread then he'd let it slide). Since 4chan made it against the rules to raid by then I had to get my kicks from somewhere and Kimmo was our lulzcow for quite awhile. But anyways, I think things started going down the shitter the minute Fox LA aired their piece on "Hackers on steroids" thereby exposing 4chan and its culture to the mainstream media and to the real world. I remembered that day too. We raided the shit out of their local forums and crashed their server. While it was entertaining we didn't realize that we would be in for a wild ride from there on out... And now the Internet is a shithole thanks to the rise of smartphones, social media and "normies". I don't see it's how it is possible 4chan can ever go back to its pre-2008 days, let alone the Internet communities themselves.
This board has been made in mind for all posters suffocating from the lack of discussion/quality threads. Come here to get away from all the bullshit and to talk about whatever. But keep the pedo discussions out of here please, you guys have enough boards to talk about that stuff. I would appreciate it!
