>UCLA researchers have found that it is possible to assess a person's ability to feel empathy by studying their brain activity while they are resting rather than while they are engaged in specific tasks. Setting aside the current limits or faults of current technology, give me ONE reason why passing empathy tests should not be mandatory for politicians. This is the real redpill. If we ensure our leaders are empathetic, the world only gets better.
yes, A true EMPATHY TEST WOULD CHANGE THE WORLD. THERE COULD BE BREEDING of high empathy people with each other . creating a ...better race of humans . we could sterilize low empathy people and out right sociopaths . this is not a joke , its a game changer . it could even become part of the "designer baby " tech that is coming soon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Designer_baby. people would choose to have a high empathy baby
>>7703 There is a catch though. Too much empathy but no self preservation also leads to someone who lets others take advantage of you. Leaders cannot be selfless all the time. A blend of empathy and self preservation (aka fairness) is needed. I don't know if we can measure that fairness yet, but starting with empathy at least gets corrupt and evil people out of the government
>>7704 yes , of course. the "new race' of high empathy folks would be Keenly aware of this and adjust as needed in any given situation . the most 'highly prized" people would be the" high empathetic-high intelligence" folks. (and this could someday be artistically selected for) by this time we almost certainly would have a/the AI Singularity. all of human decisions would be made by the people listed above and their AI counterpart .https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technological_singularity it is the real, the true, the honest "Eugenics". We (HUMANS) have stolen Evolution away from nature ...and we will be better for it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technological_singularity#Next_step_of_sociobiological_evolution
